Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

ST. RAYMOND SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP
PRESCHOOL-8TH GRADE
- Please review the following drop off and pick up procedures for all St. Raymond students. We ask for your cooperation to ensure the safety of all our students to and from school. Thank you for your help!
- DROP OFF (MORNING ARRIVAL)
  
  Important Notes:
  There is no right turn from Milburn to Elmhurst Ave. during arrival and dismissal.
  The parking lot and surrounding campus will be used for student drop off. Please do not block our neighbors’ driveways.
  No parking on Milburn and Elmhurst Avenue – these are used for Preschool and Kindergarten Kiss-N-Go ONLY
  Younger students may be walked by an adult to assigned arrival door. Adults should park only in the designated areas.
  REMINDER: The street in front of the school (Elmhurst Avenue) is a fire lane. No parking is allowed during school hours. Students may be dropped off at the door, but DO NOT PARK.
- Pick Up (Dismissal)
  
  Important Notes:
  No parking on Elmhurst Avenue because it is a fire zone.
  The parking lot will open after 3:00 PM due to gym classes. Please be cautious while entering.
  Please drive with caution in the parking lot and around campus.
  Do not block our neighbors’ driveways.
- Safety Reminders
  
  Do not use a cell phone while driving in or near a school zone per Illinois State Law.
  
  Smoking is not allowed on school grounds.
  
  Drive with caution on the school campus at all times.
  
  Be a good neighbor and do not block any driveways.
  
  Observe the “NO U-TURN” signs on Elmhurst Avenue.
  
  Set a good example for your children-use the cross walks around school. Do not cross the center median or anywhere without a crosswalk.
  
  Children should not be playing on the grassy area or in the planted areas in front of school.
  
  Do not bring dogs near the school during drop-off or pick-up times.
  
  Bicycle safety:
  
  Walk bicycles on school premises.
  
  Do not ride bicycles through the parking lot during drop off and pick up hours.
  
  Lock bikes in the racks on the side of the main school entrance.
