Band

Our band program is available to any and all students from 4th through 8th grades. The band program is currently directed by Mr. Brian Sanoshy of Music and Arts.  We offer the following bands:                                                                                                                                                                                 

CONCERT BAND

Students in Grades 6 through 8 may join Concert Band.  This is our advanced band for students who have been playing an instrument for at least one year.  Rehearsals for full band are every Wednesday right after school until 4:30 p.m.  The students receive a ½ hour group lesson every Friday during the school day.  The schedule rotates periods so students do not miss the same class each week.

INTERMEDIATE BAND

Students in Grades 5 through 6 may join Intermediate Band.  This band is set up for students who have been playing for a year in Cadet Band or are not quite ready for the challenge level of Concert Band.  Rehearsals are every Friday morning before school.  The students receive a ½ hour group lesson every Wednesday during the school day.  The schedule rotates periods so students do not miss the same class each week.

CADET BAND

Students in 4th Grade are welcome to join Cadet Band.  This group is also open to 5th or 6th graders who are new to band.  This is our beginning level band.  Rehearsals are every Friday right after school until 4:15 p.m.  The students receive a ½ hour group lesson every Wednesday during the school day.  The schedule rotates periods so students do not miss the same class each week.

JAZZ BAND

Jazz band is open to any students who are in Concert Band.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday morning before school.  This is an excellent opportunity to develop performance skills further and explore a completely different style of music.

STIXX DRUM LINE

Our drum line is open to any students who are in Concert Band or Intermediate Band.  Students do not have to play drums in either band to participate in Drum Line.  All equipment is provided, no need to purchase another instrument.  We learn traditional marching band style music and also percussion ensemble music.  Rehearsals are before school on Mondays.

PEP BAND

Our Pep Band is a combination of Concert and Intermediate Bands.  They perform annually during Catholic Schools week at our school pep assembly.
